6/26/03. The Shop, Spokane, WA.

26 Jun

Not a huge turnout tonight, but I love this place anyway. I definitely want to play here again. We got to spend the rest of the evening drinking giant beers and eating bean dip, chips and tacos and then, the next day, watching two kids play slip and slide. It was hot. As I was watching one of them direct his father to put more water here, and then get out of the way, I wondered what a city would be like if it was constructed by children. Adults could do the physical labour, but the children would design it and then tell the adults what to do, and how to do it. I wonder if that has been done anywhere? I think it is time.
